We are thrilled that four of our authors have been shortlisted for Bord Gáis Energy Irish Book Awards 2017.

The Girl in Between by Sarah Carroll and Spellbook of the Lost and Found by Moira Fowley-Doyle have both been nominated for the Dept 51@ Eason Teen/Young Adult Book of the Year Award.

'Upcycle: an account of some strange happenings on Botanic Road' from June Caldwell's story collection, Room Little Darker has been nominated for the Short Story Award.

Midwinter Break by Bernard McLaverty has been shortlisted for Eason Book Club Novel of the Year 2017.

Now in its 12th year, the Bord Gáis Energy Irish Book Awards was founded to celebrate and promote Irish writing to the widest range of readers possible. Hundreds of books were submitted for consideration this year and the public are now being asked to cast their votes online.

The winners will be announced on 28th November.
