Pigeon by Alys Conran Wins Wales Book of the Year
RCW is thrilled to announce that Pigeon by Alys Conran has been named Wales Book of the Year 2017.
The author was awarded with three prizes for her tale of childhood memories during a ceremony in Cardiff. Pigeon was first awarded the Rhys Davies Trust Fiction Award before moving on to win the main English-language award. The novel also won the Wales Arts Review's people's choice award.
The awards, which are organised by Literature Wales, are a celebration of the country's best writing.
