Sam Copeland Signs Book Deal with Puffin
Congratulations to RCW agent and director Sam Copeland, who has signed a six-figure book deal with Puffin for his debut middle grade series Charlie Changes Into a Chicken.
Sam submitted his novel anonymously to Julia Churchill at A M Heath before she agreed to take him on. Ben Horslen, fiction publisher at Puffin, bought world rights to three books and will publish Charlie Changes Into a Chicken in 2019. Dutch rights were also sold in a three-book pre-empt, with several other international publishers already in discussions regarding translation rights.
For more information about the debut, please see the Bookseller announcement.
