Kristina Stoltz was born in Copenhagen, where she still lives with her husband and children. Stoltz is an eclectic writer and has published in a variety of genres from novels, poems, short stories and books for children. She has received several nominations, prizes and grants for her work, latest the Special Award of the Danish Arts Foundation. Her work is characterized by a search for new ways of expression and an openness to the world and the possibilities of language. In 2019 she published the novel Cahun, an “exo-biography” about the French surrealist Claude Cahun. Her novel Paradis først (Paradise first), a work about love and memory was published by Gutkin in Summer 2020.
