William Henry Searle is a poet and writer, and holds a doctorate in creative writing and environmental philosophy. He is the author of two books, most recently Threads (Cornerstone), which was chosen as an LRB Bookshop Book of the Week and was an Editor’s Choice in The Bookseller.

His third book, Elowen, a memoir about the grief of losing a child and the
consolations of landscape and the natural world, is forthcoming from Little Toller Books.
