Dave Tynan

In Ireland, Dave Tynan has been known for a decade for his ground-breaking film work. He has made one feature and over a dozen shorts positioning him as a unique, urgent, and contemporary voice in cinema. Many of these have received critical acclaim – including two IFTAs and twice selected for The Best Worldwide Short Films as chosen by L’Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma, as well as viral success with total views in the millions.

His short fiction has been published in Winter Papers and The Stinging Fly. We Used To Dance Here, Dave’s first book, will be published in Spring 2025 by Granta Books.
