Luke Tredget

Luke Tredget is an aid worker and writer. He is currently Head of Emergencies at the British Red Cross, and has worked extensively in Africa and Asia over the last fifteen years, including in many refugee camps. He took a break from aid work in 2015 to complete the MA in Creative Writing at Birkbeck and to write his debut novel, Kismet, which was published in 2018 by Faber and Faber (UK) and Little, Brown (US). He has published several short stories and his non-fiction writing has featured in the Guardian, Independent and the Big Issue. He lives in London with his partner and two young children.
