Sam Thompson

Sam Thompson was born in London and now lives in Belfast. He is the author of Communion Town, which was longlisted for the 2012 Man Booker Prize, and Jott which was shortlisted for the 2019 Encore Prize. His writing has appeared in periodicals including the Times Literary Supplement and the London Review of Books and on BBC radio. He has taught English literature and creative writing at Oxford University, Oxford Brookes and Queen’s University Belfast.
