Andrew Ridker's debut novel, The Altruists, was published in eighteen countries. He is the editor of Privacy Policy: The Anthology of Surveillance Poetics and his writing has appeared in The New York Times, Le Monde, Bookforum, Guernica, Boston Review, and elsewhere. Ridker is a graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop, where he was the recipient of an Iowa Arts Fellowship.
