Scott Preston grew up in the village of Windermere in the English Lake District. After studying philosophy at the University of Sheffield, he began working as a copywriter focusing on technology, travel, and events. He completed an MA in creative writing at the University of Manchester in 2016 and is due to complete a PhD in prose fiction at King’s College London in 2023. He lives with his wife in London.
