Nayana Prakash

Nayana Prakash is a researcher and writer born in India and based in London. She has degrees from the University of Oxford and King’s College London in English Literature. In 2024, she completed a PhD at the Oxford Internet Institute, writing about how modern Indians use the Internet to tell stories and engage in creative acts. Her multidisciplinary research examines themes of technology usage outside the West, as well as broader explorations of digital cultures and the way ordinary people engage with the Internet.
