Caragh Maxwell

Caragh Maxwell is a writer living in Sligo town. She’s written professionally for the past eight years as an online content writer, and in 2018 she decided to pursue her childhood dream of writing books. She completed an MPhil in Creative Writing in 2023. She has previously had essays, poems and stories published in The Irish Times, The Cormorant and other publications. Her writing focuses on the self, the body, memory, and femininity. She likes to use the occasional Oxford comma. Sugartown is her debut novel.
