Emma Mason was born in 1974 and grew up in Dorset before West Country accents were cool. She joined Oxford police in 2003 and after several years of being terrified, decided to return to the seaside and start writing. With her husband and children, she has recently moved back in with her parents and could write a whole heap of books about THAT.
