Kirsten Hesketh’s debut novel, Another Us (Canelo) is a compassionate and funny story of the beautiful pain and joy of everyday family life, perfect for fans of JoJo Moyes. Kirsten latest novel is Wartime on Sanctuary Lane (Penguin). The first in a new WW1 saga series being written under the pseudonym Kirsty Dougal it centres on twenty-one year old Ruby Archer and her efforts to open an animal clinic in the East End. The follow up A Christmas Miracle on Sanctuary Lane is due to published October 2024

Kirsten also writes under the pseudonym Popper Cooper featuring the lives and loves of the Post Office Girls (Hodder) during WW1.

Kirsten is also a keen amateur archaeologist and loves to spend her weekends hacking through the mud on a local Roman dig. She is also a staunch supporter of Wycombe Wanderers - especially when they are winning!
