Cyril Gay

Cyril Gay graduated in Modern Literature and Documentary film-making, and is now a PhD candidate in Theory and Creative writing. He has worked for National Geographic in Bogota, Colombia. In 2016, he co-founded Marchialy Press, in France, dedicated to book-length narrative journalism and literary reportage and publishes writers from across the world. He is also a board member of two foundations: OpenFacto, promoting open-source intelligence investigations, and Nothing2Hide, providing operational security services to activists, journalists and researchers across the globe. Since its creation in 2019, Cyril has sat on the jury for the True Story Award, an international prize rewarding investigative journalism. He is currently working on a book of narrative non-fiction travelling from France to Colombia, taking place during the 1960s and the present day.
