Gabriel Flynn was born in Seattle, Washington in 1991 and grew up in Manchester, England. He studied English and Creative Writing at UEA, completing an MA in Modern and Contemporary Literature in 2019, and was then awarded a Kennedy Scholarship for further graduate study at Harvard. His story, ‘Rockets and Blue Lights’, was shortlisted for the 2020 White Review Short Story Prize. He is currently working on his first novel
