James Brown is a graduate of Saint Martins school of art where he studied fine art and film while immersed in the seedy delirium of London’s Soho in the late eighties. A fascination with the psychological melting pot of the city, witnessed in its brightest to its darkest corners has been a major influence in his writing. He has made a living as a painter, an art department runner, Art Director, copywriter and pop video director; Worked in the restoration of classic cars and built custom motorcycles. He has worked for some years in the antiquarian book trade on the Charing Cross road.
