Paige Aniyah Morris

Paige Aniyah Morris is a writer and a translator of Korean literature from Jersey City, United States, who now lives in Seoul, South Korea. She holds BAs in Ethnic Studies and Literary Arts from Brown University, an MFA in Creative Writing from Rutgers University, and is a PhD student in Comparative Culture at Sungkyunkwan University. The recipient of awards and honours from the Daesan Foundation, the American Literary Translators Association, the Fulbright Program, and more, she primarily writes and translates literary fiction with speculative elements and a focus on characters from the social margins. Her translations have appeared in various journals including Korean Literature Now, The New Yorker, Azalea: Journal of Korean Literature & Culture, The White Review, Samovar, and The Georgia Review. She has translated the work of Pak Kyongni, Han Kang, Ji-min Lee, Seo Jang-won, and many others. A textbook INFJ, she loves to read widely and listen to podcasts, and she has many strong feelings and opinions about fonts that she is always excited to discuss at length.
