Annie Dalton wrote her first novel at the kitchen table while her three children were at school. She went on to write more than thirty books for children, including her internationally bestselling Agent Angel series, and has twice been shortlisted for the Carnegie medal.
Annie once worked as a writer in residence in one of HM's prisons where she helped inmates to devise, write and perform a musical based on their own lives.
Since Annie and her daughter Maria both love murder mysteries, they decided to write one together set in Oxford, their favourite city, about three women who discover a dead body while they're out dog walking.
