Asta Olivia Nordenhof

Asta Olivia Nordenhof (1988) is an award-winning poet and author from Copenhagen, Denmark. She is a graduate from the prestigious Danish Academy of Creative Writing where she now teaches. She made her literary debut in 2011 with a novel (A Face for Emily) for which she was awarded the Munch-Christensen Debut Award. Her 2013 collection of poems sold well and won the Montana Literary Award. In 2020, she published Money to Burn which won the European Prize for Literature 2020, the PO Enquist Prize in 2020 and was shortlisted for the Nordic Council Literature Prize 2021. It is the first novel in a planned septology about the fire on the Scandinavian Star ferry in 1990. The second book, The Devil's Book, was published in 2023.
