Rory Loughnane

Dr Rory Loughnane is Reader in Early Modern Studies at the University of Kent.

His work draws together studies in text, authorship, and intellectual history. He is a past winner of the Charles and Rose G. Hoffman Prize for distinguished work in Christopher Marlowe studies, and has held visiting fellowships at The Huntington Library, California, and the University of Oxford. He is the author or editor of many academic books and articles about Shakespeare and early modern studies. An Associate Editor of theNew Oxford Shakespeare, he has edited more than ten of Shakespeare's plays. He is a General Editor of the Revels Plays series and a forthcoming Works of Marlowe for Oxford University Press. He is a Series Editor of Routledge's Studies in Early Modern Authorship and Cambridge University Press's Shakespeare and Text.
