Nick Lloyd

Nick Lloyd was born in Chester in 1980 and graduated with a PhD from the University of Birmingham in 2005. He is a bestselling English historian and writer. His work includes: Loos 1915 (Stroud: Tempus, 2006; republished by The History Press in 2008); The Amritsar Massacre: The Untold Story of One Fateful Day (London: I.B. Tauris, 2011); Hundred Days: The End of the Great War (London: Viking, 2013); and Passchendaele: A New History (London: Viking, 2017). Lloyd is a Reader in Military and Imperial History at King's College London based at the Joint Services Command & Staff College in Shrivenham, Wiltshire. Joining King’s College London in 2006, he was initially based at the RAF College in Cranwell, Lincolnshire, before moving to the JSCSC in August 2007.
