Emma Holten is a feminist activist and the author of Deficit – on the value of care. She became internationally known when she created the project CONSENT in 2014 about her own experience with digital sexual violence. Since 2018 her main focus has been feminist economics and the devaluation of care work. She is an advisor on the care economy to Human Rights Watch and the European Institute on Gender Equality, and an internationally renowned keynote speaker. She lives in Copenhagen.
