Owen Good is an editor, writer, and literary translator working from Hungarian, with an interest in prose and poetry. He has published three works of translated fiction with Seagull Books, including Krisztina Tóth’s Pixel, Zsolt Láng’s The Birth of Emma K., and most recently Pál Závada’s historical novel Market Day. His translations of Krisztina Tóth’s poetry received Asymptote’s Close Approximations Prize, while Pixel received the Runner-Up EBRD Literary Prize. He has published translations in Modern Poetry in Translation, Ploughshares, and The Poetry Review, among others. Owen currently edits at Hungarian Literature Online and The Continental Literary Magazine.
