Elin Cullhed (1983) is a Swedish author who made her debut in 2016 with the critically lauded YA novel The Gods (Gudarna). Euphoria, an incandescent fictionalization of Sylvia Plath’s last year alive, was her first novel for adults and became one of the most critically acclaimed novels of the year in 2021. It went on to win the 2021 August Prize in Sweden and was shortlisted for the Premio Strega 2022 in Italy and longlisted for the Prix Medicis Etranger 2022 in France. It has been published in twenty six languages. Elin Cullhed is currently working on her second novel.
