Sarah Trounce grew up in East Anglia and studied English at the University of Birmingham, before moving to London. She worked as a manager in the design industry for ten years and is now a freelance consultant.

She was shortlisted for the White Review Short Story Prize in 2019 and is currently studying for an MA in Creative and Life Writing at Goldsmiths. She is working on a collection of stories.
