Bridget Minamore is a writer from and based in London. She was shortlisted to be London’s first Young Poet Laureate, is working on a documentary on contemporary poets for BBC Radio 4, and has read her poetry in Rome, Vancouver and New York. In 2015 she was chosen as one of The Hospital Club’s Emerging Creatives, and her first pamphlet Titanic (Out-Spoken Press) came out in May 2016. Bridget has an English degree from UCL, is part of the creative team behind Brainchild Festival, and teachers drama and poetry workshops for young people. As a journalist, she has written for The Guardian, Pitchfork, Buzzfeed Reader, and The Pool, amongst others, about pop culture, feminism, class and race.
