Gill Coleridge
Gill Coleridge has worked in publishing since 1968, when she joined Purnell Partworks as a junior editorial assistant. She moved then to Sidgwick & Jackson, where she became Sales & Publicity Director, before moving on to help Martyn Goff run the infamous Bedford Square Bookbang, in 1969. Following a two year spell as Publicity Director at Chatto & Windus, she joined Anthony Sheil Associates in 1971, until 1987 when she joined Deborah Rogers and they started Rogers Coleridge & White. In the following year she became President of the Association of Author's Agents. For ten years she was an advisor on the British Library Publishing Board, and currently sits on the Public Lending Right committee. Her clients include David Cannadine, Linda Colley, John Brewer, Stella Tillyard, Roy Foster, Richard Overy, Lisa Jardine, Donna Tartt, Richard Ford, Edward Rutherfurd, Lynda LaPlante, Frances Fyfield, Anthony Holden, Zoƫ Heller, Bernard Maclaverty, James Kelman, Julie Myerson, Marina Warner, Selina Hastings, Graham Robb, Ray Monk and the late Miles Kington.
